Janet Hamada Kelley serves as the Executive Director of the San Diego/Imperial Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association. With over 10 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Janet has served in leadership positions at prominent organizations including the National MS Society and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. With a unique background combining entrepreneurship, consulting and development, she provides innovative, strategic thinking while focusing on partnerships and elevating the presence of the organization.
A passionate advocate for clinical trial participation and representation, Janet works to increase awareness and engagement in research initiatives critical to advancing scientific advancements and breakthroughs.
Outside of her role, Janet is a 2022 Asian Pacific American Women's Leadership Institute Fellow, 2024 SD500 Honoree, serves as a board director on the San Diego Japanese American Citizens League and is a member of the UCSD Alumni Philanthropy Committee. Janet lives in Carlsbad with her husband, Justin, and her two daughters, Kaia (6) and Seila (1).
