Bio
Bio: Before retiring in 2017, Lambert Ling’s biography would have focused primarily on his career and work history. Today, he is defined by the roles and relationships that matter most to him—as a son, brother, husband, and father. He is also deeply engaged in his community as a mentor and volunteer, dedicating his time to service and civic involvement. Lambert volunteers at the Encinitas Community and Senior Center and with Village Encinitas. He currently serves as Chair of the City of Encinitas Senior Citizen Commission and is a member of the advisory board for the Age-Friendly Encinitas initiative. An introvert at heart, Lambert finds joy in settling into a comfortable spot with a good book, while his curious and adventurous side comes alive through traveling with his family and learning new skills, exploring a new hobby, experimenting with technology, or trying out a new recipe or culinary technique on unsuspecting friends.
