Osher Lifelong Learning Institute Class
“Growing Older, Growing Stronger: San Diego’s Aging Ecosystem,” was presented by Steve Hornberger and Michelle Matter in February 2024. This course discussed the challenges and opportunities associated with aging and insights into the social and economic issues associated with healthy longevity.

Best Practices in Aging
On March 14, 2023, CEAL and AARP co-sponsored an event with the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance to share best practices in aging. San Diego was selected by the Alliance for their biennial Leadership Study Trip based on successful economic development initiatives in healthcare, education, business, transportation, technology, and housing.
